About Me
I am a third-year PhD student supervised by Dr. Dawei Zhou in the Computer Science Department at Virginia Tech. I received my Master’s degree in Statistics at Zhejiang University in 2022, and my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at Shandong University in 2019.
My research interests are broadly in Machine Learning and Data Mining. My enthusiasm is to address challenges in open-world machine learning, including developing theories and frameworks to better understand heavy-tail phenomena, characterizing long-tail and dynamic data, and improving model generalization.
